En estos d\u00edas me ha tocado configurar y monitorear unos equipos Fortigate, la mayor parte lo realizo v\u00eda web pero de vez en cuando es necesario y pr\u00e1ctico utilizar la l\u00ednea de comandos. La gran sorpresa es que sus comandos son muy diferentes a lo que estoy acostumbrado, por ese motivo me propongo a llevarles unos cuantos art\u00edculos con los comandos m\u00e1s b\u00e1sicos y necesarios para utilizar en un Fortigate.

Aqu\u00ed vamos a empezar con dos comandos secillos, el primero es \u201cget system status\u201d, este comando visualiza versi\u00f3n firmware, n\u00famero de serie, versi\u00f3n del BIOS, nombre del equipo, versi\u00f3n de la base de datos de virus e IPS, el estado actual de HA, informaci\u00f3n general sobre VDOMS, su modo de operaci\u00f3n (NAT\/Transparente), hora y fecha, entre otros.

El siguiente comando es \u201cget hardware status\u201d, dicho comando provee informaci\u00f3n sobre el hardware de la unidad FortiGate, tal como la versi\u00f3n FortiASIC, el tipo de CPU, la cantidad de memoria RAM, el tama\u00f1o de la unidad flash, el tama\u00f1o del disco duro, tama\u00f1o de la USB flash , el chipset de la tarjeta de red y el chipset WiFi (modelos FortiWifi). Esta informaci\u00f3n puede ser \u00fatil para solucionar problemas, proporcionar informaci\u00f3n sobre su unidad FortiGate.<\/span>
